Pillows

It's the last week of spooky season.

Tonight was supposed to be another movie night but things didn't go as planned. You can see Alexa, hiding behind the Black Cat Diner, making a lame excuse about where our stuff is.

To be honest, it's getting late in the game and I'm running out of ideas. So instead this post being about our spooky movie night, it's some silliness about our favorite Halloween pillows. These retro ones came from Michael's this year, it looks like Burt and Ivy like them but I'm not so sure Kibitz approves.

This is the oldest of my Halloween pillow hoard and my favorite because it's crazy. I found it by accident in 2007 at the same local big box store Burt and Ivy came from. It's actually pretty bizarre when you really look at it. There are at least half a dozen crescent moons in the sky and some of the pumpkins have been carved into jack o'lanterns even though they are still in the pumpkin patch. Three cats are staring out at the viewer but you can just make out the backside of a fourth. Wonder what he's up to?

Burt first fave is this ghost, he has two because he just couldn't decide between them.
He can't sleep unless he's cuddling with the ghost but it doesn't look like the feeling is mutual.

Ivy picked a classic that goes with everything.

Kibitz, true to form, went with the one pillow that's difficult to deal with and totally unpredictable.

His Madness likes The Raven pillow best. It was a gift from our god daughter and is extremely soft. Plus, it goes perfectly with his hat!

Stewart is way too zen for pillows, he prefers brocade table runners.

Burt's other choice, as if you couldn't tell, is something of a self portrait.

It's actually much too uncomfortable to be used as a pillow but he likes flipping the sequins back and forth from gold to black. Hopefully, he will wear it out soon.

Finally, there's Spenser just hanging out with his favorite pillow, watching Hocus Pocus, again  . . .  and hoping Amazon doesn't mess up the order for the cat treats.

Thanks for stopping by, see you tomorrow!
