Autumnal Changes

Ivy's ready to check out the late blooming flowers and see how the garden is doing this fall.

Thanks to climate change we have been spared a deep frost - so far.

On the bright side, we do get to enjoy the tropical plants a little while longer,

There are fewer of the pretty visitors but also less of the pesky ones.

I guess you could say that the fall blooming plants are the garden's last act.

These Heuchera bring a nice color with some small but interesting blooms in summer. It's in the autumn that they really put on a spectacular show when their leaves all turn different colors.

Mother Nature has been busy sprinkling Black-Eyed Susan plants around, as usual. I can't complain too much about her color scheme with this combination.

Then there is the old stand-by rose that just keeps on going until it snows.

Finally, it looks like Stewart will get to have fresh catnip awhile longer, too.

Thanks for stopping by!
