Garden Visitors

His Madness and I are back home and trying to control the chaos that always seems to come with traveling. Stewart, is probably thinking we're just a couple of slackers and would like his treat.

Less than a week ago it was 85°F and now it may freeze tonight and snow tomorrow! Yikes!

It's been a warm autumn and most of the flowers and plants are still going strong.

So are all the little critters that populate it. In fact, seem to be increasing in numbers.

Especially the ones that stay around all year just to cause as much mischief as possible!

On the other hand, the bumble bees have been definitely slowing down.

Kitty visitors come and go, usually acting like they own the place. This cutie was very sweet and friendly, I didn't mind that she visited every now and then.

I was not so happy about those that ate holes in the leaves of my roses!

They're ok though, as long as they eventually turn into pretty butterflies. Fingers crossed, ha!

Even though the summer flowers will be gone, not all of the critters will. A few of them will stick around no matter how deep the snow gets and that's something to be thankful for!

Thanks for stopping by!
