Looks like it's time to start thinking seriously about pumpkins!
Spenser likes Jack Be Littles, they make the best chin rest.
Ivy prefers the fancy, artificial ones because they can stay around through Thanksgiving. If she doesn't have time to put them away by Christmas, they'll blend in with those decorations, too.
She also loves the colorful, funny shaped - but easily stackable - real pumpkins.
(The fascinator is really a gourd.)
Kibitz feels a deep kinship with the plastic ones from Target.
Burt's faves are weird and warty and may not actually be pumpkins.
Spenser is finding this deeply confusing on many levels and a little scary.
As usual, we will be using them all.
These are great for now but we're going to need some for carving, too.
Just like skulls, can you ever have too many pumpkins?
