October is speeding along faster than The Mummy 400 film!
The Skeleton Crew have played plenty of tricks on His Madness over the years and lately he's been scheming to pull a prank on them.
Using an old amp and a metal spatula, he convinced them there's a spectral being haunting the patio. How can they tell without seeing any evidence? Good question. Do you see any VU meters or speakers? Apparently, they're either really gullible or just humoring him.
He left them to enjoy their wine and discuss what a beautiful day it had been.
Suddenly, out from under the table, a huge ghost rose up and loomed above!
Ivy screamed and Burt nearly fell out of his chair.
Overcome with remorse for frightening them, His Madness immediately pulled off the sheet so they could see it was him and apologized. They claimed they knew it was him all along, but were just surprised. Right.
Ivy and Burt quickly forgave HM for tricking them, after all 'tis the season! They were actually grateful, it gave them a great idea for a Halloween costume, they're going to be a two-headed ghost!
Spenser, looking a little ghostly himself, slept through the whole thing, totally unaware of the drama.
This was the last exposure on the roll of film. Who knows, maybe the patio is haunted. Or, this is what happens when you try to take a group shot with the camera pointing at a mirror and then move the camera, forgetting that the shutter is still open. Anything's possible.
