We're half-way to Halloween already?
When the Skeleton Crew cleared off the top of the piano for the spooky village the Pumpkin Head couple were relocated to the mantle. There was plenty of space for them and their fancy gilt pumpkins because it really was time for the easter bunnies and chicks to be put away.
Ms. Pumpkin Head seems very serene amid her raven retinue. So that was a quick and fairly uncomplicated redecoration of the mantle.
Ivy just finished reorganizing the curio cabinet. Last year we cleared it out to fix the lights right before Halloween. Then because it was empty, it seemed like the perfect place for all those tchotchkes we never know what to do with. This year, once it was cleared out, things got totally out of control. It still looks cluttered but at least it's organized, ha!
Even the Moon seems pleased with the results.
Burt was put in charge of moving our "Cocktails with a Curator" collection of spirits to the kitchen in order to make room for more decorations. It's strangely weird to have too much alcohol and too many Halloween decorations.
Then he and Kibitz moved the Toad Witch to a new spot where she is safe from marauding cats. They thought they had arranged her to look as if she was living in a spooky forest.
Ivy thought it looked hilarious.
Then she replaced everything with natural accessories and things the Toad Witch might appreciate being surrounded by.
Burt decided he needed a new accessory, too!
It looks like everyone was happy in the end . . . or were they?
