It's Trick or Treat Preparedness Week

 

The big night is approaching fast and the Skeleton Crew is getting ready!

Burt went shopping for treats this morning. He has been waiting quite awhile for the local store to stock boxes of full size candy bars. As with most things this year, he's been worried that they might never show up on the shelves at all.

Luckily, he got the last four boxes, that was too close! He also picked up some extra bags of snack sized candy bars just in case we run out of the big ones. Ivy's impressed and glad she can finally quit worrying about the candy supply.

Next, Burt and Kibitz sorted everything into the appropriate containers for handy distribution. You can't be too organized when it come to passing out treats. 

I'm not sure if Kibitz is helping Burt or himself?

Of course they weren't going to forget to treat themselves.

 

Ivy is concocting a special candy corn and cocoa crisp M&M mix. Burt likes the combination of the crunchy cocoa with the sweetness of the candy corn. Kibitz thinks the cocoa M&Ms aren't sweet enough and only likes the candy corn. Ivy isn't a fan of candy corn but she likes how it looks, so she just eats the cocoa M&Ms. It all works out and everyone is happy. Still, in the end, there's mostly candy corn left. 

Finally, the raven candy dish was filled with Hershey's miniatures. Kibitz doesn't seem happy about the raven or his warning. Is he jealous or would he just prefer some Toblerone instead?
