Everything seems autumnal but the weather.
Last week Burt suggested that the area around the kitchen sink could use an update. Since it was time to get out the Halloween decorations anyway, we decided to take him seriously.
He did have a point, the cactus has been in the candy stripe pot since Christmas and the bunny planter came from Lowe's garden center in April. This area definitely needed some attention.
Ivy took up the challenge and made some spooky Halloween curtains.
Meanwhile, Kibitz attempted to wrangle the plants into new pots.
He escaped just in time to supervise some seasonal changes to the coffee shelf.
Then threw himself into bringing Halloween to the stove. He had a productive day.
So what was Burt's contribution?
He changed the calendar . . . it's a very important job.
