Can you believe Halloween is only three weeks away?
So what has the Skeleton Crew been doing while His Madness and I have been gone? Apparently, they have been eating muffins and watching very old cartoons.
Ivy loves the pumpkin muffins they sell at a certain coffee shop but when Burt went to pick some up this morning, they were all sold out! So, she searched around on the internet for a recipe to approximate the original and found one she thought was even better.
Once all the ingredients were assembled, she got to work whipping up a batch of her own.
At least muffins are easy to make, ha!
In about an hour and a half she had more than a dozen pumpkin muffins with cream cheese centers.
Just in time to settle down for a late morning snack with Peanuts and the gang.
These muffins were moist and creamy but not too sweet.

It looks like the Skeleton Crew enjoyed her efforts.
At this rate, I don't think there will be any left when we get home.
